  • Our St Denis 4 apartment is a recently renovated accommodation that is located in the heart of the city of Paris. It offers space for six and has a classy design. It is the ideal and comfortable base for groups to discover the city of Paris from.


    The St Denis 4 is located at a quiet pedestrian street in the city centre of Paris. The apartment itself is characterized by an elegant style with a high level of comfort. Check out the beautiful wooden floors and the modern furniture creating a well balanced place to stay.

     

    The large living room has a comfortable sitting area with two designer sofas and a coffee table. You can watch TV, play a DVD or surf the net using the WiFi internet. Adjacent to the sitting corner you will find a large dining table where you can altogether enjoy homemade meals with a good French wine.

     
    To prepare a good homemade meal you need a good kitchen. Well this apartment has got just that. The large open kitchen offers you the perfect equipment for preparing that wonderful meal.


    The cozy bedroom has a beautiful wooden floor, a large double bed and a large wardrobe. The apartment also has two sleeping sofa’s that can both be turned into double beds. All the beds are provided with clean bed linen.

     

    And last but not least there is a large and luxurious bathroom with a sink with storage space, a toilet, a shower and a bathtub. We also take care of clean towels.

  • About 42 million tourists come to Paris including Disney World and Versailles every year. It is the most popular city in the world for tourists. Paris originated in the time of the Roman Empire more than two thousand years ago. The oldest part of this city is an island called Ile de Cite. King Clovis of the Merovingian kingdom built the first fortress on the ruins of an old Roman army garrison in the early Middle Ages. This island was not only the political centre in those days but also the religious centre. The first Roman Catholic Church was built here on the same spot where the cathedral of Notre Dame was built later. This gothic cathedral was built between 1163 and 1240 and is often open to visit.


    The other island in Paris is called Sainte Louis named after King Louis X. In the seventeenth century this island was a rural area where the farmers grazed their cattle and the beef was sold on the market in Paris. Later during the reign of King Louis XIII this island was mapped and houses were built form end to end. But it always stayed a quiet place with its one way narrow streets and with no subway stations. It is a nice area to walk around and relax from the busy city.


    Another old spot is the place des Vosges. This square used to be called the Place Royal and is the oldest square in Paris and was built by King Henri IV around 1608. The notorious cardinal Richelieu lived on this square.
