    Hidden behind massive wooden doors and tucked away at the back of an inner courtyard of a 17th century residence, this apartment offers an authentic old-world atmosphere with the convenience of two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.

     

    The spacious 60m2 apartment has a charming and inviting living area with a snug, queen-size sofa bed, flat screen TV, and enjoys high ceilings, original wooden beams, and exposed stone walls. The master bedroom has a cozy queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has two single beds. Both rooms offer views of the leafy and quiet courtyard. For extra privacy, guests can enjoy two modern bathrooms, one with a bathtub, large sink, and toilet, and the other with a shower, sink, and toilet.   • Located on the left bank the River Seine in the Saint-Germain district, this apartment is near a handful of universities in the district and the area has countless trendy bars, intellectual bookshops, and hip cafes. Heading towards the river, you will find the world-famous Musée D’Orsay, best known for its extensive collection of impressionist masterpieces by artists like Monet, Degas, Renoir, and Van Gogh. Across the Seine from the D’Orsay is perhaps the most famous and first public art museum in the world, the Louvre. On a sunny day, grab a café and a book and sit like a typical Parisian in the Tuileries Garden.


    The Luxembourg Palace and Gardens are less than a 5-minute walk from the apartment. This is the second largest public park in all of Paris, part of the French Senate and housed within the Luxembourg Palace. The park is yet another popular destination for tourists and locals alike to stretch their legs and enjoy a picnic when the weather is nice. The apartment is easily reached by metro, enabling easy access to major destinations in Paris, including the Louvre, Champs-Elysées, and of course the Eiffel Tower.
