It is located in a very nice neighbourhood, and the building itself soothes the French lifestyle. You will find a large living room where you can relax with your guests, have a chat, and think about your travels for the next day. There is a sofa that can convert easily into a double bed for two of your guests. The decoration is very nice and has a warm feeling with wooden floorboards throughout. There is an open kitchen and is practical and very good for preparing your own simple meals. The bedroom looks calm and inviting, and you will surely catch up on some sleep in the comfortable double bed. Also you can see there is enough storage space for your luggage. Naturally you will have your own bathroom fitted with a oitel, a sink, and a shower.

  • The Fer a Moulin apartment is just around the corner from the Jardin des Plantes, Paris’ beautiful botanical gardens. Covering a vast area of 28 hactares, it is very big and definitely worth the visit. Founded in the seventeenth century, this historical place has even got a small zoo from animals that used to belong to the royal menagerie at Versailles, the king’s home. Make sure you walk to the large Art Deco winter garden and greenhouses that display regional plants not native to France.

    For those that like a bargain and maybe looking for something unusual as a souvenir a visit to Porte de Clignancourt should be on your to-do list. Located north of Montmartre, this second hand flea market covers an area of seven hectares which makes it the largest flea market in the world. It is open in the weekends, and more than 180,000 visitors come here. You should try an get here as early as possible to avoid the larger crowds.

    Paris has an excellent underground system, so you’ll be happy to find out that there is a metro station around the corner (called Les Gobelins), so hop on the metro and you can go anywhere in the city within a short amount of time.
