  • This Paris apartment is superbly located in the capital’s glamorous 8th arrondissement, home to the world famous Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. Your accommodation is perfectly situated in a cosmopolitan neighbourhood alive with excellent restaurants, quintessential Parisian cafes and exquisite boutiques. At the end of your street stands the stunning Church of Saint Augustin, built in the 1860s. Inexplicably overlooked by tourists, this magnificent iron construct measures 100 metres in length and is certainly one of the most beautiful churches in Paris.


    A short stroll towards the Seine will lead you to Place de la Concorde, the largest square in the city, which offers exceptional views in all directions and a wealth of history. A giant obelisk dominates the square, bestowed upon France in the early 19th century by the Wali of Egypt. Originally guarding the entrance to the Luxor Temple, this 23 metre high monument is an astonishing 3,300 years old. Place de la Concorde is also famous for its grisly past, as a guillotine was erected here during the French Revolution, notoriously taking the heads of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette. The square is idyllically positioned between the peaceful Tuileries Garden and the legendary Champs Elysees, where you can literally spend an entire day people watching, window shopping or simply soaking up the atmosphere on one of the most beautiful avenues in the world.
