  • The Chapon Family apartment is a typical Parisian accommodation that is located in the heart of the cite centre. With room for four it is ideal for small groups and families that want to experience the city of Paris from a comfortable place.

     

    The recently renovated apartment is on the fourth floor of an authentic Parisian building that is located at a nice street. The place is characterized by its typical terracotta floor, light walls and its beautiful wooden beams.

     

    To relax during the day there is a spacious living area where you can sit down and relax at the sofa while watching TV, listen to your favorite music or surf the internet on your laptop or tablet computer using the wireless internet. There is a bistro set to enjoy your breakfast or other meals and to prepare those meals you need the kitchen in the next room. This modern and cozy kitchen has everything you need to make your own homemade meals.

     

    The large bedroom has the same style as the rest of the accommodation and has a large double bed with clean bed linen. There is a large wardrobe and the room has direct access to the luxurious bathroom with a shower, a large sink and a toilet. For two extra guests the sofa in the living room can be turned into another comfortable double bed.

  • Your apartment is located in an interesting part of Paris. The Louvre museum is close by and this museum attracts the most visitors of all the museums in the world. It is also located in an historic building, the former Louvre palace which began as a fortress in the late 12th century. This building was extended in the next centuries and reached its present form in 1682 when King Louis XIV moved to the Versailles palace. Louvre was opened in 1793 as a museum with about 550 paintings. Now it is one of the largest museums in the world and it exhibits a very popular painting of Leonardo da Vinci called the Mona Lisa. Take your time to see this painting because it is always crowded in front of this painting.


    Or take a nice walk to the student or university district of Paris. The Quartiers Latin or the Latin Quarter is the area around one of the oldest universities of Europe, the Sorbonne which was established in the 12th century. This area got its name from the Latin language which was the official language of the scholars and students. It is still known for its lively atmosphere, student life and bistros.


    But you can also visit sites further away from your apartment. Take the subway and go to Montmartre. This is the area of the artists, especially painters. And on top of a hill you will see the majestic Sacre Coeur or the basilica of the sacred heart of Paris.
