  • The best holiday starts with a nice place of residence. The Aboukir III a great apartment at a prime location and a very cute look. It sleeps up to four guests.

     

    Located in the heart of the city if this amazing holiday rental. It is part of a very nice French estate, and this can be seen in the apartment itself, where parts of the original building are still visible and beautifully incorporated with the modern style the place is decorated in. Wooden ceiling beams and a special bedroom are proof of this. You can enter the apartment by stairs and enjoy the atmosphere in this accommodation. There is a very nice sleeping/living area that has a very comfortable double bed. Two more single beds can be found on the mezzanine. Next to that you can find a dining table where you can chat with your friends or enjoy some food. There is an enclosing kitchen that is very modern and fully equipped so if you wish to prepare a meal for your guests, go right ahead.

     

    One of the best things would have to be the other sleeping area that you can reach by taking the special stairs. Here you have a homely feeling that is great for some extra privacy. Naturally you will have access to your private bathroom that comes with a sink, a toilet, and a shower. All these great features make this apartment just perfect for a family or group of friends.

  • The Aboukir III apartment can be found right in between the Sentier and the Bonne Nouvelle Metro stations. This means you are within walking distance of some of Paris’ greatest shopping districts and amazing architecture. Try and go south to the famous Pompidou Centre which is known by many as a great modern building in the otherwise historical city centre.

     

    If you go a bit outside of the centre you will see the famous Stravinsky Fountain (also called the Fontaine des automates) which is famous for irs sixteen comical sculptures that move around and spurt water. It was designed by artists Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint-Phalle to represent themes and works by the composer Igor Stravinsky.  It was made in 1983 and has become a true landmark of the city.

     

    You will be happy to know that the apartment is close to Gare du Lyon train station to the east of the city centreHere you can also find one of the most exquisite restaurant in Paris, Le Train Bleu. The ornate painted walls and ceilings decorated with gold leaf and plaster mouldings will definitely impress you. Just have a look at the arched , it is one of the signs of the incredible aspects of the city that make it to what it is: one of the world’s greatest places.
